Dr. Merrill Norton, Pharm.D., D.Ph., ICCDP-D

Dr. Norton is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Georgia, College of Pharmacy, with specialty areas including psychopharmacology and addiction pharmacy. He is state and nationally certified as an addiction counselor and has advanced training in addiction treatment. He is especially aware of ethical, methodological, and research issues associated with the treatment of the co-occurring patient.

Dr. Elizabeth O'Brien, Ph.D., LPC

Dr. O’Brien is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and the Coordinator of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education and an Educational Specialist degree. She has held various roles at multiple school and community programs, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience providing multiple levels of clinical supervision as well as providing instruction to future clinical supervisors.
